Responsibilities :

• Design, construct, and oversee complex databases.
• Develop database solutions and analyze structural requirements.
• Experience in designing conceptual and logical data models.
• Work with RDBMS PostgreSQL / Oracle for application development, database placement, design tuning, DDL promotion, and upgrades.
• Ideally, have experience with SQL Server in addition to one of the above.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and willingness to pick up new database challenges.
• Exposure to NoSQL technology (Couchbase, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Graduate / Postgraduate qualifications, ideally with experience in a financial company (fintech).
• Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Rally, Kanban, Confluence).
• DevOps skills (GIT, Liquibase, Cloud exposure, Ansible, Terraform) are a bonus.
• Ability to think outside the box and not depend on runbooks.
• Team player.
• May be required to work outside normal working hours if needed.
