INTERNAL APPLICANTS MUST APPLY VIA MYSELF
North Lanarkshire Council are seeking enthusiastic qualified Secondary Maths Teachers who can accept and undertake offers of work this session to join their Supply Teacher register.
What is a Supply Teacher?
A Supply Teacher is a Teacher who is either provisionally or fully GTCS registered and is recruited to a list of approved teachers who can be offered temporary work as and when there is a school need. They may be asked to cover periods of staff sickness, maternity leave, secondment, temporary vacancies etc. Supply Teachers are valued and essential to schools to fill such gaps with minimal impact to young people’s learning. There is no obligation to accept offers of work and in some cases supply teachers are registered in more than one local authority.
Should you wish to be considered for temporary work in a denominational school, you will also be required to obtain Roman Catholic Church approval from the local Diocese. Further information regarding this process can be found on the Scottish Catholic Education Service website at www.sces.uk.com .
