Key Responsibilities
The successful Business Development Representative assists in creating sales opportunities for the entire Financial Technology Sales Team through; target market research, prospecting via social media and event attendance, to follow-up on marketing activity including in-bound leads. We are looking for someone with a passion for sales and a growth mindset. You will :
Support Senior Sales Executives to identify key areas of opportunities in the market.
Support with prospecting for events and post lead follow ups.
Prospect potential clients by phone and direct emailing, while also researching and qualifying new leads.
Answer prospect questions and send additional information by email, while also creating and handling prospect lists for each region.
Schedule meetings for Senior Sales Executives.
Supports Sales Executives in closing deals to meet individual / team quotas.
Maintain accurate records of your activity in Salesforce.
Develop a deep understanding of our FinTech solutions and our product updates.
Proactively take on new initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learning.
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing / sales
Passion for sales and a keen interest in B2B sales
0-2 years of sales experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can do spirit and resourcefulness
Be a team-player
Experience with Sales Enablement Tolls such as Salesforce, 6sense, Highspot or Storylane beneficial
