We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineer to join our team specializing in Electric Powertrain for our Customer Engineering function in Cwmbran, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 4 August 2025.

The requirements are to be fully onsite Monday to Friday for this role, with some flexibility, so you will need to be able to travel or relocate to the location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete multi-disciplined tasks involving aspects such as mechanical, electrical, software and vehicle controls.
• Analysis and studies across components, sub-systems and vehicle level integration and test.
• Work on live projects under the supervision of an experienced Engineer.
• Liaising with cross functional teams to understand project processes.
• Use of CAD (Computer Aided Design) packages for creation of prototype parts, complex assemblies and viewing existing CAD assemblies.
• Interpret and understand engineering drawings, data analysis using industry standard tools such as MATLAB.
