Lead Practitioner of Maths | Greenwich | September 2025

Are you a passionate Mathematics Teacher who is committed to positively impacting the lives of children and young people in Greenwich?

A Good School in Greenwich is looking to recruit a Lead Practitioner of Maths to join their high-achieving Maths department to start in September 2025.

Lead Practitioner of Maths | The Role :

  • Delivering outstanding teaching and learning within Maths lessons and intervention sessions.
  • Providing a coaching and mentoring role for staff and students in interview programmes within the Maths department.
  • Providing evaluative feedback on the impact of learning strategies on student progress to senior and middle leaders.
  • Providing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to teachers within the Maths department.
  • Lead Practitioner Scale 1-10 (Inner London)

Lead Practitioner of Maths | Job Requirements :

  • Hold QTS, a relevant undergraduate degree, and be able to show evidence of ongoing CPD.
  • Be able to demonstrate outstanding teaching practice and excellent behaviour management.
  • Willingness to use a range of teaching and learning techniques that engage and support learners.
  • Providing an effective environment through classroom management.
