CDM Coordinator

CDM Co-Ordinator Location : Barrow, on site 5 days a week - up to 45 hours per weekContract - 6 months +

Must have a UK right to work and be able to attain Security Clearance

Must have experience of Safe Start, Safety and Risk Assessements on a large construction site.Job Description The Job : To control and monitor all CDM activities across the project, based at our client's site. This involves planning, managing, monitoring, and coordinating various sub-contractors and ensuring construction work is carried out without risk to health and safety. To ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and meet with our customers standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities : - To manage workers and co-ordinate activities on site between other contractors and our clients' operations. - Provide site inductions, ensuring that all rules are clear and easily understandable including the CDM area and ensure they are recorded accurately. - To review all RAMS prior to submission to the client, ensuring they are followed during working activities. - Motivate and lead the site team members effectively ensuring that people have a clear understanding of what is required, and they have the relevant certifications, inductions, and RAMS in place. - To ensure all contractors have the appropriate certifications, RAMS and SQEP packs and can demonstrate they have the appropriate skills and knowledge to ca...
