We have opportunities for :
Our dedicated teams are made up of Health Visitors, Staff Nurses, and Nursery Nurses inbases across Reading, West Berks, Bracknell & Wokingham.
Working with children aged 0-5 & their families in diverse communities across Berkshire, you'll help to ensure a healthy start for every child. You'll be part of a supportive team,committed to making a real difference in the community. We work closely with our School Nursing colleagues as part of a cohesive and integrated 0-19 service.

Main duties of the job
Health Visiting is a universal service available to support all families from the antenatal period up until school entry. Our service aligns to the Healthy Child Programme which ensures every child has the best start in life. Health Visiting duties include :
Working collaboratively with other health care professionals and agencies ensuring a seamless delivery of service for children and families within the community.
Assessing child and family needs, using the appropriate assessment and risk tools. Ensuring that at each contact with a child an assessment of their health and development need is conducted.

What we are looking for and the must haves for a role in our Service :
Qualified (or about to qualify) Health Visitors, Nurses or Midwives
Team players with a passion for working with children & families
Experience working in the community
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Holding a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
