Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant (Autism Support)Location : Havering, RM11Salary : £15.66 per hourHours : Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 : 45 AM – 3 : 15 PMAbout the Role : We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1 : 1 support to a student with autism in a mainstream school environment. In this role, you will support a student aged 16-19, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Your work will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and supportive educational setting, helping the student with autism navigate both academic tasks and social interactions.Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide 1 : 1 support to a student with autism, ensuring their learning needs and emotional wellbeing are met.
  • Assist with implementing personalized learning plans, tailored to the student's individual needs.
  • Support the student during classroom activities, helping them engage with lessons and social interactions.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to monitor and assess the student’s progress and development.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement, ensuring the student feels safe and valued in the school environment.Skills and Experience Required :
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
