Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an Access Possessions Planner for the South East Route, the role will see you based out of Brentwood / Dartford / Stratford offices managing the possession plan for Track Renewals Plain Line CP5 & CP6 Programme – planning worksites / possession / project arrangements, submitting possession request forms using the PPS system & supporting the Construction Teams on possession arrangements

Person Specification

  • Good Understanding of the construction / railway industry.
  • Proven experience in access planning and the use of PPS is essential.
  • Highly effective motivator with strong written and spoken communication skills and the capability of interfacing at all levels in the organisation.
  • An ability to handle short term pressures arising from short term deadlines to achieve planning targets.
  • Computer Literacy and the use of planning tools such as PPS, NROL, EAS, ACT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate and input possession requirements.
  • Assist with the provision of information into the planning of all works.
  • Liaise with the infrastructure maintainer.
  • Produce possession plans and identify possession / isolation limits.
  • Attend all pre-possession meetings to ensure possession / isolations are of the greatest benefit to Track Renewals.
  • Brief planned possession works to all parties.
  • Produce possession, access and protection planning on behalf of the project team.
  • Assist the project team as directed by Management.
  • Deputise for OTM / Train Planner as required.
  • Provide compliant worksites with Train, OTM & isolation plans for the project works and ensure the team understand requirements.
  • Highlight efficiencies that can be made to the project team.
  • Identify project risks / opportunities and participate in the management process
