In this role, you will manage a portfolio of accounts transferred from a retiring Appointed Representative, providing you with a warm handover and the security of a PAYE position.

The portfolio generates several hundred thousand pounds in commission and fee income, with clients typically producing brokerage over £10,000, and larger clients paying fees exceeding £25,000. The portfolio is miscellaneous commercial, with a focus on manufacturing and associated risks.

You will build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance programs adequately reflect their risk exposures. You will also identify coverage gaps and propose innovative solutions. A team of Account Handlers will support you in managing renewals, inquiries, and amendments.

Minimum Requirements :

• Experience as an Account Executive with knowledge of common commercial covers (Property, Liability, Motor, Financial Lines).
• Experience with cases generating a minimum of £5,000 - £10,000 in brokerage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful client relationships.
• Organizational skills, diligence, and attention to detail.

This role offers a basic salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, negotiable for outstanding candidates, along with a generous bonus and comprehensive benefits.

The broker operates a hybrid-working model, allowing you to work from home several days a week.
