  • Domiciliary Care Service requires an experienced Registered Care Manager 20 hours

We are NOT able to offer Sponsorship for this role.

Job Description

  • To provide high quality homecare services that support the rights of Service user’s
  • to live their lives, their way, they choose as far as they are able.
  • previous experience of growing a homecare busines
  • The registered manager is directly accountable to the owner(s) and to the regulatory body (care Inspectorate)

    • Duties & Responsibilities

  • Previous experience of growing a homecare business
  • Manage the safety and quality of the business
  • Be responsible for the safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and company policy and procedures
  • Keep all information about Service user and their families secure and confidential

    • Lead & Manage Safe

  • Manage the effective recruitment, induction and training of the coordinator (s), supervisor (s), care workers and other support staff

    • Person specification

  • The person specification is a picture of skills, knowledge and experience required to carry out this role. We will use the essential criteria to select suitable applicants for this post. You should demonstrate, using examples where possible, how you meet the essential criteria.

    • Essential criteria Personal attributes

  • Caring and compassionate towards people in need of care and support
  • Respect for people suffering from a range of medical conditions with different backgrounds and beliefs to your own. Strong commitment to non-discriminatory care practice
  • Excellent communication skills. Experience of building positive working relationships with people who use care services and their families, staff and other health and social care professionals
  • Any of the qualifications as prescribed by the Care Inspectorate in Scotland Typically, SVQ 3, HNC Social Care or SCQF Level 7
  • Previous experience as Domiciliary Registered Care Manager - 2 years (required)
