Job Title : Machinery Maintenance Technician

Reporting to : Maintenance Manager

Shift Pattern : Days (with possibility of overtime)

About the Role

• Carry out maintenance and repair to manufacturing plant including CNC lathes, milling machines & grinding equipment.
• Where required, liaise with OEM suppliers and specialist contractors to diagnose critical machine faults, spares and service requirements.
• Knowledge of chillers, LEVs, conveyors and other process related equipment an advantage.
• Carry out contractor management including reviewing RAMS, issuing permits and monitoring work being carried out on site.
• Identify and implement improvements to plant and process.
• Complete all documentation recorded on paper & electronic based systems to an auditable standard.
• Carry out duties following Xtrac safety policies and procedure. Where required, carry out an investigation of safety events.
• Where required, introduce and review maintenance work instructions, risk assessments and equipment maintenance requirements.
• Support and participate Xtrac workshops including safety initiatives, continuous improvements, TPM etc.
