Adult Complex Care Nurse – Community Based

Location : Doncaster

Shifts : Days ;

As an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider Thornbury Community Services recruits adult nurses to utitlise their nursing skills and clinical expertise to enable our clients to live safe and fulfilled lives where they can achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies and take trips into the community.

We are looking to recruit an adult nurses in the Doncaster area with complex care experience to work with a 19 year old male with a neurological disorder, global development delay and scoliosis.

Role requirements

We look for Adult nurses with a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience who are passionate, resilient and highly skilled. In order to be considered for this role we require the following key skills

  • Care of tracheostomy with regular inner tube changes
  • Emergency Trache Tube Changes
  • Manometry check of tracheostomy tube cuff
  • Bag and Value attachment for use in emergencies
  • Subglottic suctioning via specialist tracheostomy tube
  • Administration of medications including oxygen and nebulisers
  • Personal care and assistance with mobilising
