Job Description : Project Manager -Contact Centre Modernisation Programme (givernment)

10th March start

12 month Contract

Up to £520 Inside IR35

3-4 days a week in office in Manchester

Required Experience and Skills : (If you do not have all these points below we are sorry but you will not be contacted due to the time constraint)

  • Proven Project Management Experience : Demonstrated ability to deliver projects successfully, particularly in large-scale programmes.
  • Contact Centre Knowledge : Familiarity with Contact Centre technologies, including Natural Language Call Steering, Call Recording, Work Force Management, Call Transcription, Call Alerting, and Surveys.
  • Government Experience : Previous experience working within government environments is advantageous.
  • Flexible Methodology Adaptation : Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt approaches based on project needs (not necessarily an agile evangelist).
  • Strong Leadership and Collaboration Skills : Ability to lead teams effectively and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery phase of a major Contact Centre Modernisation Programme. This role will focus on managing the transition from Discovery to Alpha phase and ensuring the successful execution of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Delivery : Deliver agreed outcomes from projects using appropriate management techniques, ensuring alignment with overall programme goals.
  • Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resource Management : Oversee the allocation and management of resources to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Reporting : Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management and stakeholders.
