Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Hours : Compressed into 4 days 2 short and 2 long days open for discussion

Were looking for a Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our MRI team at the Canary Wharf Outpatients part of our London Bridge Hospital currently rated Outstanding by the CQC.

HCA Healthcare UK has recently opened an 18million 20000 sq. ft stateoftheart outpatients and diagnostics centre in the heart of Canary Wharf. The centre brings a new and unparalleled level of healthcare quality capability and accessibility to the area.

The London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large worldclass hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf.

As a Senior Radiographer within MRI who would ideally have experience in cardiac youll provide a customer focused high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users; undertaking and performing all MRI procedures. This post willpredominately cover four sites and each site will cover a range of MRI specialties including Neuro MSK Abdomen ENT Angios as well as Cardiac scanning.

Duties & responsibilities :

  • Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients
  • Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways
  • identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager
  • Assist the day to day running of the imaging department
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary
  • Assist with staff orientation and training
