Job Title : Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location : Diss

Shift Pattern : Monday to Friday, 22 : 00 – 06 : 00 (Night Shift). Friday shift of 17 : 00-22 : 30

Salary : £51,500 per annum

We are looking for a highly skilled, driven individual to join our team as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, working night shifts to ensure smooth operations on our production lines.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance on all electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults within the production machinery and plant systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and parts used.
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery and upgrades to existing equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Skills & Experience :

  • Electrical engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) and relevant experience.
  • Strong experience in both electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
  • Experience within a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment, ideally in packaging.
  • Understanding of PLCs, automation systems, and industrial control systems.
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and maintenance systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
