You’ll have an impact on bringing digital-first banking to our customers by defining the future state architecture vision and strategies for our Global Businesses and Global Functions.
You’ll be developing business, data, software, and integration architecture standards to manage processes, systems, and technology complexity across the HSBC Group. Through dynamic, agile collaboration you’ll work closely with business partners to translate their requirements into integrated solutions that can be deployed globally using consistent service patterns for ease of deployment, support, and enhancement.
The Principal Enterprise Network Security Architecture role is responsible for two main aspects of the Enterprise Reference Architecture :
i.Enterprise Architecture : Define, maintain and own the network security architecture strategy and roadmap, incorporating Network Segmentation as HSBC segments its network, ensuring alignment to other HSBC technology strategies and providing Design Authority sponsorship for major network security initiatives across the Group.Provide assurance of the Solutions Designs produced and support the Engineering teams in production of Execution plans in executing the Strategies. This will include liasing with developers who work for Global Businesses, selling standardisation as a key to interoperability between the network and the services it supports, and working tightly with the Network Security control owner, who works for the CISO, across an organisational boundary
Solutions Architecture : Managing the Solution Architects who write the designs and patterns for Network Security initiatives across the Bank, and working with the Global Businesses to prove the value of those services to the developers who use a secure network.
