Finance Manager

Anderson Knight is appointed to work in partnership with a key client based in the heart of Glasgow who is seeking to recruit the position of Finance Manager. Our client is a well established business that has interests across the UK and deemed a market leader.

Reporting to the Head of Finance the key duties of this role will include :

• Preparation of multi-site monthly management accounts with detailed analysis
• Analysing the month-end financial position and making appropriate adjustments if necessary in line with internal procedures
• Quarterly VAT Returns
• Balance sheet reconciliations, particularly around inventory, labour costing and WIP
• Work in conjunction with Business Unit leaders and challenge where appropriate, provide financial stewardship and be a confidant from a finance perspective
• Support the preparation of regular and ad hoc financial data and variance analysis on a monthly basis
• Provide solutions to business challenges to ensure business continuity

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering on time monthly management accounts with detailed analysis, you will also be a Fully Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience with a minimum of 5 years accounting knowledge.

Experience of Multi-Site Accounting is preferred however is not essential.

You will be a self starter who can communicate and influence at a senior level whilst producing financial data within strict deadlines.
