A JOB THAT MATTERS : YOUR TASKS

We are looking for a number of individuals to become trainee installation engineers, to learn to Install, test, and commission dormakaba’s range of automatic door systems. These projects can include high profile, blue chip, construction and refurbishment projects in the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors.

Whilst engaging in the practical, hands-on training we would provide you with, we would be looking for you to complete the industry standard Power Pedestrian Door Apprenticeship, a 2 year resulting in industry recognised certification and qualification.

This is a seldom available opportunity to enter a challenging and rewarding industry, giving you a chance to be a key part to delivering dormakaba’s business plan and growth in the UK.

AN EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS : YOUR SKILLS

Previous industry experience is not essential, however if you have transferable electromechanical qualifications or experience that would be of benefit. To be considered you need :

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivation with a desire to learn
A can-do attitude and a flexible approach to work
Level 2 English and Maths or be willing to achieve this as part of your qualification.
A full UK Drivers licence with no more than 3 penalty points
