Secondary English Teacher in BognorStart SeptemberPay – £140.86 - £215 per day (depending on experience)Location - BognorHours - 8am – 4PMTemporary Full-time with the potential to become permanentJob DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team starting in September 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English literature and language, with the ability to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5).Responsibilities-          Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons.-          Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.-          Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and department initiatives.-          Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.-          Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and activities.-          Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and developments.Requirements-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.-          A degree in English or a related field.-          Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.-          Excellent communication and organizational skills.-          Commitment to continuous professional development.-          Desirable-          Experience teaching English at the GCSE and A-Level.-          Familiarity with the latest educational technology and methods.-          Enthusiasm for extracurricular activities, particularly in literature and the arts.The ideal candidate will : Be a committed team playerProven track record of raising attainmentBe confident and adaptable to different environmentsHave strong classroom management skillsBe able to deliver Art & Design in a fun and engaging way that students can relate
