Software Engineer (Frontend-Focused) – UK Remote | AI & ML Research

We are hiring a Software Engineer (Frontend-Focused) to join an innovative team working on cutting-edge AI & machine learning research for a global client . This role involves building a high-profile public-facing demonstration that showcases advancements in visual representation learning .

Location : Fully remote in the UK (occasional travel to London office if needed)

Contract : 5 months (potential for extension)

Working Hours : Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM with 1 hour lunch

What You’ll Do :

Develop and enhance a web-based interactive demo showcasing AI research

Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WebGL, Canvas, Three.js, Babylon.js to create high-performance visuals

Collaborate with design, UX, and research teams to deliver a seamless user experience

Optimize for smooth performance and ensure usability in network-constrained environments

Nice to have) Assist in backend integration using Python and deploy ML models

What We’re Looking For :

Frontend Expertise – Strong experience in web-based applications

High-Traffic / Public-Facing Experience – Must have worked on products that have been shipped publicly

Remote Work Experience – Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team

Bonus – Experience in AI lab demos, ML model deployment, or interactive visualizations

Preferred Background – Previous work at AI-driven tech companies

Interview Process :

1️⃣ 30-min intro call (behavioral + project discussion)

2️⃣ Frontend technical review (may include a second interview if needed)
