The Role of Complex Mental Health Worker
The Complex Mental Health worker role is essential and plays a key role in the overall experience to the people we support at SeeAbility. Over the coming months, Royal Hill Park have the opportunity to support further individuals with complex health needs, to live a more fulfilled life and ultimately become more independent.
We are on the lookout for knowledgeable Mental Health Workers who are eager to join our inclusive and supportive team. Together, we work harmoniously to provide the necessary support to individuals with mental health conditions, history of alcohol or substance misuse, trauma-related conditions, behaviours that challenge, and visual impairments.
In your role, you will utilise your expertise to assist the people we support and share your knowledge to the wider team. We highly value individuals who possess a strong work ethic and are open to the training we offer. You will be responsible for delivering both direct and practical support to the people we support and their families. It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are important.
You will work in both 1 : 1 and group settings and be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will need to be calm, patient, and have a consistent approach. You will assist the people we support to engage in the interests they love. It is hugely rewarding to see the people you support improve; being able to do something today that they couldn't do last week, just because of you!
