You’ll join a furniture manufacturer specialising in creating bespoke, high-quality pieces for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Their commitment to craftsmanship and innovation has earned them a reputation for excellence. To support their growing operations, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with subcontractor experience to join their team.

What you’ll do :

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for furniture projects.
  • Manage tendering, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
  • Evaluate bids to ensure alignment with project requirements and budgets.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Track and monitor project costs, managing variations and providing regular updates.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations.

What you’ll have :

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a subcontractor background.
  • An understanding of furniture manufacturing would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation and project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel, or QS-specific software).
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
