Your Role

4 days on, 4 days off - This role is responsible for the day to day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers, to presentation for inspection, and reload on to trailers

Your Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE
  • Ensuring the correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility whilst remaining compliant with

manual handling procedures

  • Undertaking manual and / or electronic reporting requirements as requested
  • Take instruction from our on-site partners to support the inspection process
  • Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training
  • Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives
  • Maintain the inspection environment following training
  • COSHH Awareness following training
  • Assist drivers locating bays, support drivers in direction to bays and offices
  • Champion a health and safety culture

    • Your Skills and Experiences

  • Logistics experience in a large fast moving environment
  • Strong warehouse system experience
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety at work
  • Experience of working to agreed targets
  • Intermediate PC Skills : Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner
  • Good Communication skills
  • Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including covering holidays and absence when required
