DRV (General Driving – 7.5, 3.5 Vans, Mini buses and Cars) Description Drivers Direct Recruitment In Leeds are looking to recruit 7.5T / C1 drivers to work for various clients in Leeds and surrounding areas : Hours of work : DaysMonday to FridayStart times will be around 05.00hr – 0830hr The Roles can include the following but you are not obliged to accept all work offered....you can pick and choose the work to suit you! DaysMulti dropGeneral haulage.Curtain Sider work, Flatbed workHandball may be required on some jobs, drivers assistants may be supplied. Some deliveries may involve PPT. Duties / Responsibilities : Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills : Must have held a valid HGV 2 / Class 2 / Cat C licence for at least 2 years.Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.Must hold a valid Digital tacho card.Good communication skills.Good customer relations.Have a safe driving record.No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
