AA Euro Group are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join a specialist M&E Contractor working on a new build Data Centre in London.
Prior Data Centre experience is essential for this position. This is a full time permenant position based on site in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Planning : Develop and implement project-specific logistics strategies to support the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Site Coordination : Collaborate with project managers and site teams to manage deliveries, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Supplier Management : Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transport providers to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Inventory Control : Monitor and manage stock levels across multiple project sites, ensuring adequate supply and minimizing waste.
- Compliance : Ensure all logistics activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Team Leadership : Oversee logistics staff, including drivers and site coordinators, to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to schedules.
- Problem Solving : Quickly address and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain to keep projects on track.
- Reporting : Prepare and present regular logistics updates and reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, ideally within the construction or M&E sectors.Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and transport operations.Familiarity with large-scale industrial or commercial projects, such as data centres or pharmaceutical facilities.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Strong communication and leadership skills.Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.A relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or construction management is desirable.J-18808-Ljbffr
