Job description

AA Euro Group are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join a specialist M&E Contractor working on a new build Data Centre in London.

Prior Data Centre experience is essential for this position. This is a full time permenant position based on site in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics Planning : Develop and implement project-specific logistics strategies to support the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Site Coordination : Collaborate with project managers and site teams to manage deliveries, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • Supplier Management : Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transport providers to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Inventory Control : Monitor and manage stock levels across multiple project sites, ensuring adequate supply and minimizing waste.
  • Compliance : Ensure all logistics activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Team Leadership : Oversee logistics staff, including drivers and site coordinators, to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to schedules.
  • Problem Solving : Quickly address and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain to keep projects on track.
  • Reporting : Prepare and present regular logistics updates and reports to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, ideally within the construction or M&E sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and transport operations.
  • Familiarity with large-scale industrial or commercial projects, such as data centres or pharmaceutical facilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or construction management is desirable.
