Due to our continued success, Progress Teachers are looking for a passionate Teacher of Music to work within a Secondary School in Coventry. As a Teacher of Music, you will be expected to play a crucial role in promoting a vibrant and inclusive musical environment, nurturing students' passion for music, and ensuring the department's success.
Responsibilities :
- Designing and developing comprehensive music lessons that align with educational standards and the school's goals.
- Ensuring the lessons reflect a broad spectrum of musical genres and styles.
- Creating an environment that fosters student interest, participation, and enthusiasm for music.
- Organising and supporting extracurricular music activities and clubs.
- Overseeing the maintenance and acquisition of musical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborating with other school departments and administration to integrate music into the overall educational experience.
- Coordinating music-related events, such as concerts, recitals, and competitions.
- Engaging with parents, the local community, and potential donors to promote and support the music program.
- Building partnerships with local music organisations and institutions.
