Thisrole is based at Avon Park School, and is a maternity coverpost.

Our cliniciansare a crucial part of the most joined-up model in SEND. Across allof our specialist schools and children’s homes, we provideunrivalled levels of clinical support, both in terms of ourexpertise and breadth of provision. Our young people presentwith a complexity of need including developmental trauma,neuro-developmental conditions and special educationalneeds.

As part ofa multi-disciplinary clinical team you will be supportingeducational and residential colleagues to provide therapeuticliving and learning environments and, based on clinical assessmentand formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagementto our young people. You’ll also be assessing our young people’smental health and recommend appropriate interventions in apersonalised care plan. Building rapport is key, by doing thisyou’ll be able to deliver effective counselling and feedback onprogress.

Be aqualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with theHCPC

Bea confident, engaging and effective, model, guide, leader andtrainer
