Job Title : Resident Liaison Officer

Location : Kensington and Chelsea

Salary : £34,000 per annum + £3k Car Allowance

Sector : Social Housing

MUST HAVE OWN CAR AND VALID UK DRIVING LISENCE - MUST BE ABLE TO DO SURVEYING

Job Description

As an experienced Resident Liaison Officer you will be a visible point of contact for customers, engaging through newsletters, meetings, visits and open days.

You will ensure residents are aware of the works processes and communicate updates / changes accordingly. In addition you will coordinate handover of keys to site teams and provide a high standard of customer aftercare, ensuring works are completed satisfactorily and managing expectations between residents, the client and our operations teams.

Qualifications

With the confidence to manage sometimes difficult situations, as Resident Liaison Officer you will be a naturally excellent communicator who can work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

We are ideally looking for somebody who has worked for a Contractor or in a client-side resident liaison / community engagement role, preferably within planned / reactive maintenance or asset management.

You will be resilient under pressure and understand the need for discretion and respect in a public facing role.

You must have a UK driving licence, and own your car.

Key Responsibilities of the Resident Liaison Officer :

  • Engaging with residents and understand the needs of the community to deliver a personal service
  • Provide a friendly courteous service in connection with residents
  • Support, communicate and advise the site team

  • Undertake resident profiling to identify individual needs and tailor our service
  • Implement our Customer Journey process to guide residents to manage expectations, maximise satisfaction and explain works, give notices, write newsletters etc
  • Make access arrangements mutually convenient with residents
  • Attend evening / weekend appointments where necessary
  • Organise community events
  • Manage complains / compliments and deal with all feedback. Keep complaints log with remedial actions and report weekly to the client
  • Lead aftercare / handover service
  • Requirements of the Resident Liaison Officer :

  • 1+ year of experience as a Resident Liaison Officer (Social Housing).
