Aircraft / Ground Support Technician

Our client, a leader in the aerospace and defence sector, is seeking a Aircraft / Ground Support Technician - AGE Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis. This role is situated at RAF Lossiemouth and focuses on the management and oversight of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and Typhoon Maintenance Equipment Calibration (TMEC).

Key Responsibilities :

Provide statistical information on Mission Critical AGE and TME asset availabilityMaintain, arrange, and call forward TyTAN specific items requiring routine calibration / maintenance using JAMESInvestigate and manage on-base repairs to AGE and TMEC equipment via the Resolve processPerform daily customer oversight checks to ensure the accuracy of MJDI and F731 documentationLiaise with the wider Physical Logistics teams to ensure necessary Piece Part Spares are demanded and escalatedMaintain oversight on agreed AGE / TMEC loan itemsCoordinate with On Base Physical Logistics teams for proficient equipment movementSupport the acceptance of AGE / TMEC equipment into service at RAF LossiemouthEnsure all AGE / TMEC taskings are printed, allocated, and delivered to customers within specified timescalesUtilise the Joint Transport Movements Request Database to provide movement data

Job Requirements :

Awareness and knowledge of MAOS 145 (desirable)Ability to work independently, self-motivated, self-starter, and proactiveGood time management and communication skillsIT literate and numerateKnowledge of Supply Chain IT systems (desirable)Experience working with core Engineering and Logistics teams, particularly in GEF or TMEC rolesSecurity Clearance (SC) required

Additional Information :
