Job Description

Our client, a leading full service law firm, are looking to add a Clinical Negligence NQ Solicitor to their team in central Newcastle. The role would suit a newly qualified Solicitor who has completed a seat in either claimant or defendant clinical negligence, who is looking to qualify into this area. The team are also open to qualified Solicitors with up to 2 years' post qualifying experience who will attract a higher salary.

Responsibilities : n \n

• Handling a caseload of clinical negligence claims from instruction through trial to settlement.
• Assessing liability, and reporting on findings.
• Drafting correspondence.
• Drafting and submitting court documents, witness statements, applications, replies and adhering to court direction.
• Attendance at court.
• Providing expert legal advice to clients.
• Negotiating settlement.
