We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join a forward-thinking technology company. In this role, you will design, build, configure, and maintain the system and cloud infrastructure for dynamic Web applications. Your focus will be on ensuring high uptime, scalability, and rapid code deployment.

  • Develop and maintain automation solutions to reduce errors and enhance system performance.
  • Improve and manage Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment pipelines.
  • Set up new servers and manage projects in the cloud.
  • Identify and resolve architecture and infrastructure issues in collaboration with development and IT teams.
  • Lead new cloud projects, ensuring system security, stability, and scalability.
  • Support internal systems to boost productivity for development and quality teams.
  • Manage infrastructure to proactively address and prevent system issues.
  • Oversee production persistence infrastructure, including data backups and restores.
  • Configure systems based on evolving team needs, including technologies such as Tomcat, Java, Apache httpd, nginX, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and more.
  • Provide on-call support for Linux and cloud infrastructure.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years in Linux / Unix system administration or system operations engineering for web-based application platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication skills; proficient in scripting and automation (bash, python, etc.).
  • Experience with production system protection, access controls, auditing, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in managing large-scale, highly available production environments in the cloud.
  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (Nagios, PagerDuty, Splunk, etc.); virtualization platforms (VMware, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, etc.); CI / CD tools (Teamcity, Jenkins, git, Azure DevOps); DevOps principles and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Packer, etc.).
