Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engagement Manager to join our friendly team. The Wildlife Trusts Consultancies (WTCs) have been engaged by Network Rail Eastern Region to deliver an extensive Biodiversity Plan throughout their Eastern Region.

The Engagement Manager role will be hosted by one of the consultancies, EMEC Ecology. They will facilitate the delivery of the Biodiversity Plan by engaging with external and internal stakeholders over biodiversity opportunity site development and data sharing. This will primarily be conducted through stakeholder relationship management including developing biodiversity improvement opportunities with third parties. It will also include supporting the collection and management of GIS data about the biodiversity sites. External stakeholders may include Government Bodies, Charities, Local Species Groups, Community Groups and Landowners.
