HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver (CAT C+E)

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Dartford area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver (CAT C+E) to join the team on days.

Hours : Tuesday to Saturday, 04 : 30am until 13 : 15pm.

Job Type : Long term ongoing role.

The role :

On-Site Trailer Shunting (4 : 30 AM – 9 : 00 AM) : Efficiently shunt trailers on-site, ensuring smooth operations and timely trailer movements.

Delivering to Amazon Dartford (9 : 45 AM – 1 : 00 PM) : Deliver palletised parcels to Amazon’s site located 20 minutes from the depot. Ensure all deliveries are accurate and timely.

Requirements :

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
• Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Reliability is a key requirement for this position.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
