• Salary & package dependant on experience : Up to £65,000 + PackageThe role & about the client : The Client is a leading Chartered Building Company offering a comprehensive service, successfully delivering a wide range of projects across the residential sector within the Hampshire and West Sussex region. Projects include new build and refurbishment works for clients by traditional, design & build and partnering procurement methods. They have a strong history of working within the heritage sector. Project values range from £100,000 to £6,000,000. The role is essentially 60% Estimating.Based from the Winchester office, the successful candidate will be commercially responsible for all projects assigned to them. In a typical week they might :
• Prepare and submit valuations
• Certify subcontract / supplier payments
• Place subcontract orders
• Prepare Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and accruals
• Place material orders
• Attend weekly internal coordination meetings
• Prepare and issue monthly contractor reports
• Create, manage and review construction programme
• Collate RFIs and CSIs
• Maintain health and safety standards
• Review and obtain Temporary Works designs
