Teaching Assistant Position at SEMH Provision in Chesterfield

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant seeking a full-time role in the Chesterfield area? Our client, a reputable SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) provision school, is in need of a skilled Teaching Assistant to support their students.

Position : Teaching Assistant

Location : Chesterfield

Salary : £77 – £85 per day

Key Responsibilities :

Provide one-on-one and group support to students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and managing student behaviour

Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements :

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is advantageous

Strong communication skills and a nurturing attitude towards supporting student development

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
