Position Overview :

The successful candidate will be instrumental in empowering students to develop their artistic skills and flourish within an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. This role entails fostering a dynamic and creative learning environment that encourages independent thought, collaboration, and a lifelong love of art.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and deliver the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Visual Arts curriculum to students in Grades 6 to 12.
• Design and implement engaging art projects and activities that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
• Prepare and mark a wide range of assessments following MYP and DP protocols.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students, including those for whom English may not be their first language.
• Teach and promote art appreciation and cultural understanding using a range of student-centered teaching strategies, resources, and technology.
• Embed IB "Approaches to Learning" in the curriculum delivery.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to establish interdisciplinary links.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest art education advancements.
