Job Description

Piramal is looking for a Team-leader / Principal Development Scientist responsible for leading method development, validation, Technical lead for projects ranging from lab-scale to toxicology development and pre-GMP technology transfer. The role will involve both technical and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess both a strong technical background, and the proven ability (or potential) to lead and develop team of scientists. A track record of delivering project commitments on time is essential.

• Daily Work :
• Responsible for project deliverables in line with agreed objectives and timelines.
• Provide technical support and advice for manufacturing activities relating to processes developed or transferred into Piramal.
• Responsibility for analytical / process conclusions reported.
• Daily leadership of small development team across multiple projects
• Mentoring of Scientists and direct line management responsibility
