Year 3 Teacher (Maternity Cover) – Thornton, Liverpool

Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 3 teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? Teaching Personnel is seeking a Year 3 Teacher for a maternity cover role in a welcoming primary school in Thornton, Liverpool . This part-time position (Monday to Thursday) starts after Easter and runs until October 2025 .

Responsibilities :

  • Teaching a Year 3 class in a supportive and well-resourced primary school
  • Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Working closely with the wider school team to ensure excellent pupil progress
  • Creating a nurturing and positive learning environment

Qualifications :

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in KS2
  • Strong classroom management and a child-centred approach
  • A motivated and adaptable teacher who can hit the ground running
  • Passion for helping pupils thrive and achieve their potential
