Job description

Our Skills Bootcamps in Software Development will give you all the technical skills needed to start your first Software Developer role, or to help you progress into a Software Developer apprenticeship.

What you will learn

The programme will build technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to start your career. This will include;

System Development lifecycle & Methodologies.
HTML / JavaScript / CSS.
Database Design.
Python.

Gaining a wide variety of technical and practical skills and upon completion, you’ll be perfectly placed to progress onto one of our digital apprenticeships or move into full-time employment.

Career support

Our Skills Bootcamp focuses on making candidates as employable as possible, by giving them the skills, qualifications, and career and recruitment support needed to get into a Development role.

Eligibility

Our Software Technician Skills Bootcamps are available to all adults, regardless of prior attainment aged 19+. Applicants must;

Living in the North East Mayoral Combined Authority region. I.e. Darlington, Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle or Sunderland,

Be employed, self-employed, career changers, returners to work or unemployed within the last 12 months.

Have access to a reliable internet connection with a PC / Laptop.

Have the right to live and work in the UK.
