Position : Supply TA

Rate of Pay : £85-£95 per day

The Role :

Are you a positive and adaptable SEND teaching assistant looking for flexible work in SEND schools across Hillingdon? As a Supply TA with Academics, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools across Hillingdon, enriching young minds and contributing to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional support to SEND children both 1 : 1 and in groups
  • Adapting to various school environments and teaching methods.
  • Engaging with students to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Help pupils develop their social and emotional skills, promoting their overall well-being

To apply for this SEND Teaching assistant role you will require :

  • Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with SEND.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of pupils.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education or SEND support would be advantageous.
