Job description

JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Title : SEND Learning Support Tutor / Unqualified EducatorSalary : Based on experience / QualificationStart : ASAP / Easter 2025Key Responsibilities :

  • Prioritise the safeguarding of all students.
  • Consistently adhere to the DFE Teachers' Standards (May 2012). Teachers' Standards Link
  • Provide an inclusive, high-quality educational experience in accordance with school policies.
  • Develop detailed Individual Educational Plans tailored to each student's needs, using CATS profiles, EHCPs, learning objectives, and strategies.
  • Collaborate with other educators to coordinate and internally moderate assessments.
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all actions.
  • Deliver subject content using effective pedagogical practices, staying updated through self-reflection and continuous professional development.
  • Play a key role in teachers' meetings, focusing on :
  • Onboarding students for the blended learning programme.
  • Providing the best curriculum for all students, particularly those in blended learning.
  • Utilising remote learning and homework to enhance student learning.
  • Leading and coordinating learning for all students.
  • Supporting ongoing school development.Additional Key Responsibilities :
  • Deliver high-quality instruction across various subjects, as directed by the subject leader.
  • Assist in the collection and recording of students' attainment data.Essential Personal Qualities :
