Job Title :  Engineering Planner Location :  Lydney Salary : CompetitiveJob Types : PermanentOur clinet located in Lydney who operate in the manufactruing industry are looking for an Engineering Planner to join their ever growing team. Our client focuses on manufacturing and selling nonwoven fabrics, films, and laminates, which are engineered materials used across a variety of consumer-oriented and industrial applicationsKey Responsibilities – Engineering PlannerUpdate and develop planned and preventative maintenance regimes for process equipment in association with mechanical and electrical engineersSchedule resource and priorities with Engineering Supervisors and mill requirementsMonitor and schedule regular inspections including pressure systems regulations, hoists, lifting equipment, ladder inspections, and fixed internal servicesGenerate and publish Maintenance KPIs from SAP PM system as requiredPlan and manage shutdowns including supporting the organisation of spares and contract servicesManage daily operations of the SAP PM systemMaintain and update SAP PM system master data including equipment, assets, BOMs, and task codesMaintain site maintenance calendar for production machinesSchedule, co-ordinate, and chair pre and post shut maintenance planning meetingsSupport Engineering Capital Expenditure projects as requiredQualifications & Requirements – Engineering PlannerGood level of knowledge on mechanical engineering principles with comprehensive understanding of fitting, turning, general fabrication, rigging, and lifting of heavy loadsApprentice trained with an Engineering / Technical HNC or equivalent, or relevant experience in a similar rolePrevious experience establishing and maintaining planned and preventative maintenance systemsExperience in industrial processes or related industries with rotating machinery desirableGood working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and its application in a continuous process environment, plus SAP system expertiseWhat we can offer – Engineering PlannerCompetitive salaryBenefits PackageFor more information on this role, please contact Charlie Boulton on (phone number removed) or send a copy of your CV to Candidates who are currently an Engineering Planner, Maintenance Planner, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Production Engineer may be suitable for this positionFor details of other opportunities available within your chosen field please visit our website (url removed)Omega is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Energy & Renewables and Tech sectors
