We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for hard-working and dedicated support workers to join our client at a small residential home based in New Milton!The home, which supports young people with Emotional Behaviour Disorder, Challenging Behaviours and Mental Health. Helps to provide a welcoming and encouraging environment to support young people in flourishing academically, socially, and emotionally.We have full-time, permanent roles for days. 2x 15-hour shift and 1 8x hour shift with 1 full weekend work and 2 weekends off for 38 hours per week. Sleep ins available at £50 / night.Your new role As a Children's Support Worker, you will be responsible for : Ensuring the health and safety of young people is maintained whilst generating a positive, safe, and fun atmosphere. Promoting and encouraging independence in a caring and compassionate manner.Ensure that the needs of the young people are observed and always met. Actively promote and develop learning whilst participating in activities whilst working within and outside the service.What you'll need to succeedHaving a genuine passion for caring for others whilst being calm and compassionate. Understanding of Emotional Behaviour Disorder and Challenging Behaviours is advantageous. Flexible and reliable with your working schedule.
