About the role

You will support all the individuals we care for to live happy, healthy, and quality lives through the delivery of exceptional standards. No two days will be the same and you will get involved with the nutritional support of our residents through the delivery of creative and delicious meals. You will also occasionally help in ensuring the home is safe, tidy and clean and welcoming and comfortable for our residents.

Job titles can vary – this role is also known as cook’s assistant, kitchen helper, general kitchen assistant, catering assistant, food preparation assistant, domiciliary assistant, social care.
