What is the opportunity? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading wealth and asset manager with ambitious growth plans and help us to develop our banking and credit proposition.Based in Manchester, this role will be multi-faceted, supporting the UK Banking and Credit Product teams in the distribution of innovative banking solutions, and delivering training and market intelligence to ensure that our world-class advisors continue to provide the exceptional advice and client focus which has supported us in becoming one of the most-trusted dedicated Wealth Managers in the UK market.You will be a key contributor to the strategy and roadmap for our growth ambitions in the UK and influence the evolution of our wider UK Wealth proposition strategy.You will work with the respective Regional Managing Director and Heads of Offices, the Head of Product Propositions, Group Risk Management and people at all levels of the organization to assess clients’ product requirements, to provide insight into market trends, support the manufacture of product solutions and to balance these needs with the internal revenue and return benchmarks. What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Experience working with loans and deposits, able to demonstrate understanding, front to back, the Bank’s suite of banking products

You will work across multiple different areas of RBC, you will need to be able to influence decision making and to build professional relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization

You must be a strong team player, flexible, proactive and bring a positive attitude

You must be able to adapt to and embrace evolving priorities

You will be joining an established team working in a different location to your immediate manager. You should have a proven track record of collaboration, both in person and remotely, and be able to tailor your approach to your audience

CeMAP or willing to complete qualification

Nice-to-have

Keen interest in innovation, managing and launching digital / digital-first Banking propositions in the UK / other relevant markets and excited about developing digital-first propositions to solve customer problems

Conversant with economics, commercial and regulatory parameters and governance frameworks associated with manufacturing and distribution of Banking products and services in the UK

Take initiative and not hesitant to challenge the status quo and traditional ways of thinking
