Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Cheshire – Circa £50k

Are you passionate about creating innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges? I am currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client’s growing Engineering Projects team where you’ll work on excellent technologies aimed at transforming the future of energy solutions. Your main purpose as a Mechanical Design Engineer will be to drive products from conception through to operational validation whilst working on all stages of technologies, from research to development, design and manufacture ensuring we are key providers to our clients throughout their assets’ journeys.

Key Responsibilities For The Mechanical Design Engineer :

Design and develop innovative solutions for advanced processing technologies.
Manage projects from concept through to installation, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, effective systems.
Conduct tests, analyse results, and optimise designs for improved performance.
Troubleshoot and solve engineering problems at all stages of the project lifecycle.

Experience For This Mechanical Design Engineer :

Strong experience in mechanical design, including CAD modelling and simulations.

Practical problem-solving skills and experience with prototyping and testing.

Project management experience, with a focus on planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
