The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding and supporting them through daily routines, emotional regulation, and the development of life skills – always promoting independence, safety, and dignity.Key Responsibilities :
- Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to service users
- Use de-escalation techniques when necessary, in line with Team Teach principles
- Encourage and promote positive behaviour and personal development
- Support with household tasks, education, and activities
- Maintain accurate records and report any safeguarding concernsRequirements :
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (essential)
- Team Teach training (essential)
- Valid Mandatory Training Certificates
- Previous experience supporting young people with complex needs
- Calm, observant, and methodical approach to behaviour management
