Support Workers – Children’s Residential Care (NVQ Level 3)Location : IP7, SuffolkStart Date : ASAPShifts : Day ShiftsAre you an experienced Support Worker with a passion for helping young people thrive in challenging circumstances?We are urgently seeking female Support Workers for a temporary placement within a children’s residential care setting in the IP7 area of Suffolk.About the Role : This role involves working with teenagers who may display challenging behaviours. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding and supporting them through daily routines, emotional regulation, and the development of life skills – always promoting independence, safety, and dignity.Key Responsibilities :

• Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to service users
• Use de-escalation techniques when necessary, in line with Team Teach principles
• Encourage and promote positive behaviour and personal development
• Support with household tasks, education, and activities
• Maintain accurate records and report any safeguarding concernsRequirements :
• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (essential)
• Team Teach training (essential)
• Valid Mandatory Training Certificates
• Previous experience supporting young people with complex needs
• Calm, observant, and methodical approach to behaviour management
