Private Law Solicitor - Family Department

Vacancy Description : Private Law Solicitor – Family Dept.

Location : Bolton / Bury Office

Hours : 9.00 am to 5.00 pm - Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)

We have a vacancy for a private law solicitor (4 years PQE) who can run a caseload of divorce / finance and children files to work in our busy family department based at our Bolton / Bury office. The position will involve travel to courts and other offices; therefore, candidates must have a car available for work use.

Ongoing training, guidance, and support from the team is provided.

Job Role :

Working within a busy office with a friendly team of people, you will be expected to carry out the following duties :

Run own private caseload and work independently
Capability of undertaking a mix of Legal Aid & Private Family work in all areas
Ability to use CCMS and have a sound understanding of legal aid criteria

Skills Required :

Experience in private law

Good organisational skills

Ability to work well within a team

Friendly and professional manner
