Maintenance Engineer

Abatec is currently looking for Maintenance Engineers to join their Maintenance team.This will include : responding to breakdowns- reactive maintenance, conducting servicing on machinery.Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance & repairs on equipment and machinery.
• Following engineering drawings and specifications.
• Diagnose breakdown problems.
• Assist with development of new manufacturing methods.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace.Experience
• Hold a Engineering qualification.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Previous maintenance background necessary.
• Good level of understanding of Engineering Management Systems and Processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and day-to-day running of all fixed plant machinery to best practice standards to ensure production is maintained at the highest possible level.This will be a full time permanent opportunity working various shifts (days & nights) with plenty of overtime available.
